G.SKILL just announced an expansion to their mechanical gaming keyboard family. The Ripjaws KM780R RGB and MX models are revised versions of their very successful KM780 series keyboards and features everything you already love about the original minus the extra gaming keycaps, puller tool, and keycap box. Because G.SKILL is not including these accessories in the re-release they are able to pass the saving on to you and reduce the price.
Here’s what G.SKILL has to say:
The KM780R models offer the same great features and designs of the original KM780 series keyboards: highly responsive and extremely durable Cherry MX key switches (rated for 50 million keypresses without losing the same mechanical feel), military-grade aluminum plate in a brushed black anodized finish, and the full suite of extra macro keys, onboard keyboard profiles, and media control keys with the digital LED volume display. And of course, these new KM780R RGB and KM780R MX models will be available in Cherry MX red, brown, and blue flavors.
Here is a comparison chart to see how the newly revised keyboards stack up to the originals.
The G.SKILL Ripjaws KM780R RGB and KM780R MX are currently being sold only at Amazon.com but will be available through other authorized G.SKILL retailers at a later date.
