Galaxy Releases GTX 780 GC and GTX 770 HOF

Galaxy has released two interesting products in their GTX 700-series of graphics cards. Both have features that are sure to please, both the eyes and the frame rates. First up is Galaxy GTX 780 GC Edition that features a custom twin fan cooling solution. The heatsink underneath is an aluminum and copper hybrid for added heat transfer and dissipation. Galaxy also says it designed its own fan profile for smooth ramp ups. The GPU runs at a nice 1019Mhz boost clock right out of the box and packs 3GB of GDRR5.

The other card of interest here is the great looking Galaxy GTX 770 HOF, which may very well be the best 770 on the market today. The all white design features a triple fan cooling solution paired with a massive 5-heatpipes heatsink for added heat management. What’s underneath the classy white design and the huge heatsink is even more interesting though. Galaxy custom designed the PCB to allow for maximum overclocking. The GTX 770 Hall of Fame Edition comes right out of the box as the fastest clocked 770 on the market, with clock speeds of 1204Mhz and 1254Mhz, base/boost respectively. Furthermore, Galaxy says these GPUs are hand picked for overclocking headroom and they are paired with an 8+2 digital PWM power section to feed them stable voltages and massive currents. Engineers also added voltage read points to the PCB for hardcore overclockers to monitor their cards.

Both the GTX 780 GC and the GTX 770 HOF are available today and are going to set you back $659 and $449 respectively (MSRP).

  1. The 780 looks like a Zotac AMP! but that 770 is beautiful, 3 fans is amazing lol wish I would've had the foresight to get non-reference cooling :*(
    Next time I buy graphics cards for a 4-way SLI setup I'll get something more like these XD
