ImgBurn – Versatile Freeware Burner App

ImgBurn is a great freeware burner utility that gives you lots of flexibility and options that many commercial products lack.

This modest download (2 MB) is packed with features from the simple to complex. For example, you can burn disk images to just about any drive – hard drive, pen drive, CD, DVD and Blu-ray. However ImgBurn does not feature “wizards”, so even though the usual burning functions are simple to execute, the more advanced stuff might require reading the Guide (links below).

 

After installation, you see the main screen:

 

 

Select whatever function you need and it opens a detailed screen:

 

 

Selecting “Settings” gives you some idea of the depth of its functions:

 

 

As an example of this program’s features, I have never seen a burner app that graphs out what’s going on:
