This is a compact unit that folds to a small package for portability – about 6 ¼” wide. Once opened, it measures about 9 ½”:

On the bottom are two storage compartments (3 ¼” x 2″ x ½” deep) that can fit the accessory cables and some miscellaneous items, such as memory cards, money etc:

The fans are very quiet – at its lowest setting, virtually noiseless; at the highest setting, discernible but still quite low – with ambient room noise, all but noiseless.
The back is the where all the functionality resides:

From the left, there is a wheel to moderate fan speeds, power plug, USB inlet port, three USB ports, and slots for memory cards. The power switch is on the side. I would prefer that the memory card slots be on one side or the other – inserting cards in the back require you to get up and reach over or around the laptop. There is also a Power-On LED located on the top right hand side that is all but invisible once there’s a laptop on the cooler.
To see how well the unit performs, I used it with the Asus Z71A I reviewed a while ago. I mounted the laptop on the unit and ran Prime 95 without the fans on:

I then powered the laptop cooler with the fans on high:

I did get a 1ºC temp drop, although the laptop and its back do not get particularly warm during use; others may see more of an impact with a laptop that runs hot.
Jetart’s Folding Laptop Cooler is a very attractive, low noise, multi-functional laptop cooler. Users with laptops with hot backs should see an improvement in cooling. Over all, a nice package.
