I happened to be passing a McDonalds in Zurich looking for an internet cafe (much cheaper than using the hotel’s line for access) and stumbled across “McNet”.
I’ve seen a number of internet cafes tucked into curious places (eg, one terminal in an English electrical distributor), but this is a first for me. The terminals are very McDonalds – functional and easy to clean:
Not too private, though. I used a place across the street instead, although McDonalds was about $1.40 less:
I paid about $3.50 per half hour – good connection speed with LCDs. However, nicht mit webcam….
