AMD unveils 300 series, Fury, Fury X, R9 Nano GPUs, and Project Quantum PC

AMD was gracious enough to invite Overclockers.com to their Club AMD event running along side, almost literally, the annual E3 video game conference. Coming into this, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Something GPU related no doubt, but it turns out it was much more than that. There are some details I am unable to share at this time due to embargos, but AMD and its partners really brought a lot of cool things out to show the attendees. Let’s take a look at a couple of them.

Cooler Master Silent Pro Platinum 1000 W PSU Review

Here we have Cooler Master’s latest PSU. No longer content with mere Silver or Gold ratings, this unit is rated as an 80+ Platinum unit. The 80+ Platinum badge certifies that the PSU is disgustingly efficient and contributes a bare minimum to global warming. Or at the very least, that it’s at least 89% efficient at full load, 92% at 50% load, and 90% at 20% load.

I have always thought of mini-ITX motherboards as utilitarian in that people only used them if they had a specific reason to. Overclockers.com Benchmarking Party – Summary and Pictures

The weekend of the party has passed and the event itself is over, but the party has just begun for the Overclockers.com Benchmarking team! Everyone whom attended had a blast meeting each other and pounding on computer hardware throughout the weekend. With mountains of hardware, 740 Liters of Liquid Nitrogen to burn, and support from leading hardware manufacturers Corsair and Gigabyte. Having a great time was guaranteed!

Cooler Master Elite 430 Black Review

By now most of us have heard of Cooler Master and their many products including power supplies, cooling accessories (heatsinks and fans), and of course cases.
