Here’s a type of link you don’t see every day.
Basically it’s a company that says, “We’ll tell you just about everything you’d ever want to know about the Opteron processor in our report,” no doubt for a very hefty fee.
Think Intel bought the report?
Actually, probably not. They probably did the same thing and more all by themselves.
They’ve done that before and even publicly acknowledged it.
In all likelihood, I wouldn’t doubt Intel does this rather regularly, and by hook or by crook, probably sooner than the firm mentioned above.
AMD probably does likewise.
This ought to make you skeptical when companies treat everything as a secret.
