The AMD Price Cut?

If you look at Pricewatch, you’ll see that the prices of the 90nm Athlon 64s are down from what they were yesterday. In the case of the Athlon 64 3000+, what was $163 yesterday is $150 today, with somewhat bigger cuts for the higher-rated models.

Is this the price cut we mentioned the other day?

These cuts only seem to apply to Monarch Computer so far, nor are there any apparent Sempron 3100+ cuts yet. They haven’t been reflected in other company’s prices, perhaps they will tomorrow or shortly thereafter.

(BTW, other stores do have 90nm Athlon 64s in stock, you just have to search their websites looking for them.)
