A few days ago, we wrote about AMD price cuts.
Well, since then prices have slid a bit more in the United States. The low Pricewatch price for the lower end of AMD’s Hammer line is now:

These prices are generally a bit less than they were a few days ago, for instance, the 90nm 3000+ went from $160 to $150, or a drop of about 6%.
Is there any more coming?
Two processors that might shortly go down a bit more in price are the 3000+ and 3500+. The socket 754 versions of those processors cost $17 less than the socket 939s for these two speeds. However, for the 3200+, there is no such price difference.
On the other hand, if AMD does want the socket 939s to cost a little more than the 754s, maybe the 3200+ will go down a bit in price.
