Wayne’s Block

Hi, i read your article on the danger den water block vs a open water block design. I have just finished making my own home design, machinist milled water block. Im using a 230gph water pump @ 0 head preasure through 1/2″ Inner Diameter hoses. The water runs into the bottom and out the top inlets. I am using a giant Aluminum pot with about 3 gallons of distilled water at room temperture, 79 degrees F, as my water resevour. I need to add a radiator, cause the water temp in the resvour gets high quickly. On my 1700 XP, at the default voltage, at idle, my mobo reads a 36 C temp. With my old Coolermaster HSFand 3 case fans, it was about 44 C.
