Western Digital Releases Three WD Green SN350 NVMe M.2 SSDs

Western Digital has just released three new entry-level NVMe M.2 SSDs. The WD Green SN350 line-up is extremely budget-friendly and consists of 240 GB, 480 GB, and 960 GB drives. Starting at only $43.99 for the 240 GB, $54.99 for the 480 GB, and $99.99 for the 960 GB drive. These prices are low enough, this just might be the end of the line for standard SATA drives.

Price isn’t the only deciding factor, of course, performance is equally important. Utilizing up to 4 lanes of PCIe Gen 3, these NVMe drives are capable of up to 2400 MB/s sequential reads and 1900 MB/s sequential writes for the 960 GB drive. You can expect slightly lower numbers with the smaller drives, as is generally the case. Additionally, Western Digital provides a three-year warranty with all SN350 drives as well as the WD SSD Dashboard utility software.

Below are a few key points about the new WD Green SN350 drives taken from the Western Digital website along with a specifications chart.
