XPG launches CYBERCORE II Platinum ATX3.0 Certified and PCIe 5.0 Ready PSU

Taipei, Taiwan – 28th March, 2023 – XPG, a fast-growing provider of systems, components, and peripherals for Gamers, Esports Pros, and Tech Enthusiasts, today announced the global release of the newest iteration of their Platinum certified, modular power supply series, XPG CYBERCORE II.

Offering two models in 1000W and 1300W respectively, this power supply family caters to the needs of power hungry DIY enthusiasts, performance focused gamers, and ATX based workstations equipped with the latest high-end GPUs. Both versions are ATX3.0 compliant with a PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR (12+4 Pin) connector, while still sporting a thermal solution designed in collaboration with Nidec. This series offers some of the coolest and quietest next-gen ready PSU performance currently on the market.

ATX3.0 and PCIe 5.0 Ready

The XPG CYBERCORE ll Platinum power supply series fulfills all stringent Intel ATX3.0 requirements and offers quick and convenient fully modular cable management, specifically designed for high-end graphics cards and systems with large power consumption needs. As such, it includes a 12VHPWR (12+4 Pin) connector and cable right out of the box for PCIe 5.0 applications, offering reliability and compatibility with the latest and upcoming components.

Cybenetics ETA PLATINUM and LAMBDA A-Certified

The XPG CYBERCORE ll series sets a new benchmark for dual-certified power supplies. It has received Platinum certifications from both Cybenetics and 80 PLUS, offering an efficiency rate of 92.91%, higher than the platinum certification standard baseline. What’s more, the Cybenetics Lambda A- certification for acoustics is a testament to the award winning XPG VENTO PRO 120 PWM fan, designed in collaboration with Nidec. Guaranteed for up to 60,000 hours at 60 °C, this cooling solution delivers highly effective cooling while delivering some of the lowest noise performance at the ATX Platinum level currently available. The thermal and acoustic performance is even more impressive when coupled with the compact length of the unit, measuring only 16cm. The small form factor allows PC builders to better maximize the space inside any ATX chassis, which translates to better cable management and more space for additional hardware.

Quality Above & Beyond Expectations

The XPG CYBERCORE ll series features impeccable craftsmanship and high-quality build materials, like 100% Japanese capacitors;  a must for power supplies in this product segment. It also features a DC-to-DC circuit that reduces noise, a power management IC (PMIC) to control voltage levels and other protection mechanisms, and an interleaved PFC high power converter.

Overall, this series features a unique topology that ensures output quality and stability at a premium level of efficiency.

Comprehensive Protection and 10-Year Warranty Service

The XPG CYBERCORE II Platinum Certified Power Supply provides eight industrial-grade comprehensive protections (OPP, UVP, OVP, SCP, OTP, OCP, NLO, and SIP), and offers a worry-free 10-year warranty so early adopters, gamers, and professionals can have their peace of mind for years to come.
