Hello,

I have a Abit TH7-II RAID and I have 2 WD1200JB's. For some reason they will not work on the onboard Raid controller. (RAID 0) I hooked em up to separate controllers and I can sucessfully create the array but I cannot format it in the WinXP setup program or with my old Win98SE boot disk. I can partition but no format.

Anyway I wanted to try Mr Natural's bios and I searched the forums and all the links seem to be down.

The Mr N. Bioses can still be found here: http://members.optushome.com.au/windsurfer/

I read that but the site doesn't come up. I wanted to usse REAL hp drivers and BIOS versions that may solve my problem.

Has ANYONE else gotten a pair of WD1200JBs to work RAID 0 with a official BIOS?? I figured maybe it was a size limitation. Right now the drives are running non-raid off the main controller.

Thanks for any/all feedback!

Test this that integrates the version of the Highpoint bios v2.32, the latest. th7h_7fb232.zip

You are able it find here:

I have posted it yesterday.

I had problems setting things up in my TH7II-R the first time. I'm running an 80Gb Maxtor & a 10Gb. IBM HD on the highpoint controller (IDE channels 3&4; no RAID -just as normal hard drives) Initially, I had to install the 80Gb drive on IDE Channel 1 to get WinXP installed. Then I installed the latest Highpoint drivers from the web, then switched the drives to the Highpoint controller. The Abit TH7II CD that came with the mobo didn't the XP drivers on it, so I couldn't get setup to complete the installation. After that, no problems. Hope this helps. -Dave
