I got a pair of corsair xms3200 256mb on my it-7max2v2 and I'm wondering which settings i should use to get maximum performance out of them with and without(maybe wanna use stock speed with my 2,4b C1 because of heat) doing fsb increasing. Should I run them in 2-5-2-2 or 2-7-3-3? how much voltage do they need? 2.5? I haven't undertstood the divider thingy(3:4, 1:1) yet, anyone got a good link?

thx

Edit: MERRY XMAS!!!! ;)

2-5-2-2 would be the tighter timings of the two you listed. And yes, 2.5 is the default voltage however a lot of people run up to 2.8 and say that's the absolute safest vdimm.

I can run mine at 178+ FSB (haven't tried for any higher yet) @ default voltages and fastest timings.

does the tighter timings decrease the memorys lifetime?
