I expect my new IT7-Max2-rev2 to arrive tommorrow so I am now just planning ahead. The Overclockers.com Home page has an article today titled "SL6RZ Update". In it, the ratio between the FSB speed and the memory speed is discussed. Although it does not mention the IT7, It seems to imply that the default ratio is 4:5. In other words, by default, the memory runs at 125% of the FSB speed (times 4, of course).
Is this so? I would have guessed that the default ratio would be 1:1 so the FSB and memory run at the same base speed. I am currently using a TH7II. For this board I am able to set the memory multiplier to either 3X or 4X FSB speed. Does the IT7 also have a setting for this multiplier in addition to the ratio setting described above?
