cannot install win xp on K7S5A PRO REV.5.0

im building a system for my friend and this is all neww K7S5A pro mobo - 2000 xp TB - kingston 512 2.5 2100 ram - antec 330 PSU - geforce 2 64 MB -20 HDD maxtor - tried to boot from cdrom with xp ,got boot disk from bootdisk .com and boot from floopy and get to setup but freezes,and gives msg. missing operating system ?? i cannot install xp on new HDD what am i doing wrong? any 1 help!

Is the new HD formated? Make sure.

You must set your BIOS to boot from a CD-rom first. Then you can do everything from the wins XP CD, you can format & Partition your harddrive from the CD too. I hope that helps
