if so are u running it inline or submerged?

i just purchased the 2100 (692gph) and i noticed it leaking around the inlet of the pump. am i supose too seal it around the oustide of the inlet? any help would greatly appreciated. thx!

I have the Rio 1700 pump, and I also noticed a small leak around the inlet when I first connected it all together, but a small bit of teflon tape around the threads before I put the cap on fixed the problem. I'm running the pump in-line and the pump is cool to the touch, and getting great temps.

yeah i teflon that threaded cap. here is a picture of were its leaking (cyan color). its not allot just a few drips here and there
