does the IC7 and the IC7-G both perform equally in benchmarks thanks and overclock the same etc.

they perform exactly the same.

the ic7-g just has onboard gigabit lan and two more serial ata conrolers

its a shame abit didnt feel a need to stick in a 10/100 lan card in there ...

Keep in mind the card is 10/100/1000. So it is backwards compatible just like any 10/100 can do 10.

I may use that jack for a mod. Anyone think thats a bad idea{very small voltage and current}
