AGP fast write on IC7?

I have a Radeon 9700 pro on my Abit IC7, and everytime I tried to set it to 8X AGP and fast write, it will ask me to restart to apply the setting, but after the restart I check the SMARTGART menu and it's still saying fast write disable Does IC7 even support AGP fast write or something is wrong with the driver or the video card?
