ok i have found 4 steppings i can pick from.

AQXEA

0328 SPQW
0329 MPMW
0329 VPHW
0330 VPMW

anyone know wich would be the best over clocker? i have a good water setup and hopping to get 2.6 gig or better from one of these chips?

thanks guys!

The VPHW is probably the best. I, and others, believe that the lower the third letter of the four letter code, the better. Lower letters consistently do better.

Not excaliberpc.com or anyone else guarantees those kind of codes.

got this in from newegg yesterday
xp2500 AQXEA 0330 VPMW y864717200763
@203FSB is running 2233MHz @Default vcore. using Soltek nforce2 mobo, kingston PC3200 2x256mb.

ya it's excaliber.pc

the 0329 VPHW & 0328 SPQW are boxed set with 3 year warranty! $101 + $5 shipping=$106

and the 0329 MPMW & 0330 VPMW are OEM 30day warranty! $95 + $5 shipping =$100

alittle more expensive than newegg but i say if they can garrantee the stepping it's worth it! going to get the 0329 VPHW this weekend i guess, along with ABIT's new KV7 (VIA KT-600)$87 from excaliber.pc as well.

unless anyone knows were i can gett a better stepping garanteed!

In that case, I'd go for the second choice. The risk of getting an SPQW is too high, and you'd probably be disappointed if you did.
