18 error on display - no startup with o'c settings*?

since i flashed last version of bios on my 8RDA it simply wont boot
(blank screen) on any cpu frequency other than default 12.5x133!!!
also I noticed that reset button wont reset after startup, it resets but wont boot again until power cord pulled out!!!


any sugestions!!?

check the manual for the code. also, holding in the power button should shut down the computer, instead of yanking the cord.

I checked, it coresponds to identifying cpu name wendor etc. strings..
it seems as if when in o'c state this routine blocks the startup proces..

is there any newer bios? mine is from 28/07/2003.

why not go back to the older one?

if it works, leave it unupdated

well at the moment I have alot to do, i0ll be leving it for later to deal with.. thanx..
