ok ive made up my mine on what to get

well ive made up my mind, and each check i get im going to buy a part or 2. heres what im going to get:

WW water block
DD heater core
Mag3 pump
and all the odds and ends i need, but where can i buy the mag3 at? thx for all the help.

Why not get the core from dtek while you are there? You can get the mag 3 at petsmart i think. There are quite a few places that have them, someone who has one will chime in.

is there a diff between the 2 cores, dtek and DD? i know the one from DD is one of the best ya can get.

They're both of similar size, and being heater cores will have similar performance. Get the one from Dtek and save a bit on shipping.

If you have the room, go for it. The performance difference between the JR120 and a Chevette will be hard to measure.

well the only heater core dtek has is the jr-120 thats y i was asking.

They should have the Pro Core too. That's larger than the JR120 and will yield better performance, provided it'll fit.

Check www.marinedepot.com for the Danner Mag 3.

Yeah, the JR-120 is their only heatercore based radiator that they have for sale right now. It's fine. If you want to save some cash then you can get a scratch and dent one from the clearance section. They should only have cosmetic damage, and they are $10 less.

What the hell happened to the Pro Cores? Are they out of stock or did they actually stop making them?

Just go to autozone and get a 86 chevette heater core. 1/2"ID tubing will fit over both barbs.

they have discontinued them in favour of the JR-120 (dtek confirmed this to me by email)
