doskey lock?

um, hello.

I run windows 98 on another computer, and in a foolish attempt to remember a well loved game, i tried to install a game for msdos. now, when i restart it gives me the warning about doskey and whether or not i want to unlock it. either answer i choose, the computer freezes. anyway to get back to windows? thanks in advance.

exactly what's in your autoexec.bat and config.sys
if you having problems finding them please tell us and we'll help you

Don't know where in the bootup you're getting hung; but if you have a win98 bootdisk maybe try booting from a floppy. Then see if you can get to your c: prompt. If you can, you can use the commands

type autoexec.bat
type config.sys

to display the contents of those files.

What game, btw?
