my mobile 2400s at 240x10 can the 2600 do higher?

hey all i just found some v1.1 corsair xms cas 2 in my moms comp i built for her and swapped it with my new v1.2 stick(she doesn't oc so it's no big deal), so now i'm the proud owner of a bh-6 512 stick and i love it. i can now get my 2400-m to 240x10.i can lower it to 10.5x 235 =2467 but cant get it to run over 2.5, now i'm wondering if i was to get a 2600m if i could get it to at least 235x11.5=2702? or higher?can anyone with the some experience please give some input.i'd like to get at least to 2.7ghz with at least 235fsb.

Exactly! I think I got me a decent mobile 2600,check my sig.

My 2600+ does 12X220 stable.... Any variety of multipliers and FSB upto 2650 or about at 1.965 Vcore
Boots at 2800 but not stable..

thanks for the replies, it looks like id only be able to gain abot 250mhz by upgrading i'm not sure if i will be worth it.
