I would like to know if I could use PC3500 or 3700 or 4000 in my IC7 mobo. The specs say DDR400. Im pretty sure I can Im just wondering why they would say PC3200 and not more. Are they just talking about stock speeds and not overclocking speeds? I plan at running somewhere between 2200 and 250 but probably not more than 250, which is why Ill probably pick the PC3700. Unless I can find a BH-5 PC3200 at the tech shows I get all my stuff at. I just wanted to make sure it will support the memory before I brought it.

No problem using good quality name brand RAM in the IC7. I've used generic PC2700, KHX PC3000, KHX PC3200, OCZ PC3500 EL, Mushkin PC3500 level 2, and Corsair XMS PC4000 Pro in my two IC7 mobos... no problem. Back a year ago when Abit first released the IC7, the fastest RAM that was "officially" recognized and available was PC3200 or DDR400 memory. So, that was what they tested the mobo with... that's why it only officially supports that speed RAM. Unofficially, it'll use any DDR RAM that has the proper specs and number of pins.
