SATA/PATA compatability problems.

I am having trouble. I run 2x raptors SATA and use a 120g WD for data. I am ditching RAID 0 for a little while while I try a few things out. However, I cant boot off the SATA while the PATA is also hooked up. It works just fine when I disconnect the PATA drive. But when I connect it (keep in mind it's freshly formatted and completely empty) to the cable, it will post but not load windows. What's the deal? I've tried every possible mode in BIOS and have version 15 BIOS. I'm at my wits end. Any ideas?

Try moving the WD120 to IDE2. I seem to remember problems using IDE1 for Hdd's when also using (at least) SATA 1+2 (dont know for 3-6).
