Is win 2k pro 64 bit compatable?

Just as it says is windows 2k pro compatible with 64 bit Cpus, in perticular the AMD 64 bit.

No, but the A64 can run in 32bit mode, so you can run W2K, but it won't be 64bit.

There are only a few 64bit OSes out there for A64s.

XP/2003 are BETA still. There is Gentoo, RedHat, Mandrake, Slackware, and a few other *nix distros that are 64bit, but support is still seriously lacking, and will be for another few years.
