Im thinking of buying a barebones since it will run me about the same price and that way everything would be installed except for the graphics card that I don't know how to install, Will I need to use any kind of paste on the graphics card such as artic silver or anything, or do I just pop it in and connect the power dongles and play? Thanks for any light you may shed on the subject!

Pop it in, connect the power, and install the drivers :) Make sure the PSU can handle the card.

you only need to put arctic silver on the graphics card if you install a third party heatsink, in which case installation instructions will be included
