Photoshop CS 2 problem

ok, so i install photoshop and it works fine... for a week or so. now, whenever i open it, i get this error:

An error has been detected with a required application library and the product cannot contiune. Please reinstall the application.

ive reinstalled 3 times now with no success. any suggestions/solutions?

If you're using Windows 2000, it's probably because a DLL file is outdated.

Otherwise, it's probably corrupted.

if it was corrupted, woudlnt a reinstall fix it?
