Ok i have tried 2 different kits of 2gb ram (2 x 1gb sticks) both patriot and now mushkin.
By stock speed the timings for each are:
Patriot low latency 2-3-2-6 but will only run at 2-3-3-6 in the p4c800 deluxe, no amount of vdimm helps, also will not go past 200mhz even at slack timings
Mushkin Blueline 2-3-2-6 but only runs at 2.5-3-3-6 same as the above no help from more vdimm and no overclock at all
So after returning the patriot ram, i thought i would try these mushkin sticks in another mobo...Abit IC7 Max 3 ram runs at 2-3-2-6 and overclocks to 217mhz even at those timings....so its not the ram
I a using bios version 0.019 (latest) ....any help greatly appreciated
