Intel 830 with P5ND2-SLI dlx...single or dual core?

I know that the intel-d 820 will only work in single core mode with the p5nd2 deluxe, but I also heard that the 840 will work fine. Just wondering if anyone knows if the intel 830 will work in dual core mode with that mobo?

Duals really do not work well on that chipset. Frankly I would avoid it entirely and stick with an intel based chipset.
