Heres the situation, my dad has a 2.4ghz northwood in some old motherboard and just got a gig of Corsier XMS 2-2-2-5 ram.

I benched that using Sisandra and it got like 4505. Now i go and bench my gig of OCZ EL ram and i get a 3191.

So then i swap ram so he has the OCZ and i have the Corsier and he scores a 4496 and i score a 3149. Why would my mother board be bottlenecking so much? I have the ASUS A7N8X-E deluxe, is this some kind of bios bug, maybe needing a new bios? What do you think?

*EDIT* I just saw another thing on the bench(i swapped the OCZ back in mine) i looked at the maximum memory bus bandwith and i scored a 6720MB/s and he scored a 6400MB/s, just something to add if it means anything.

your scores are in line with an AthlonXP system (very good scores actually).

You can't compare memory bandwidth in dual channel mode of an AthlonXP system to a Pentium4 system. It's not a fair comparison.
