I currently have 2x512MB of OCZ PC3200 Platinum Rev. 2 and want to bump it up to 2 GB (BF2 has just gotten way too sluggish since the last patch!). Other hardware is in my sig. Which would I be better off with?

1. OCZ Platinum EB PC4000 2GB 2X1GB (CL3-3-2-8)

2. OCZ EL Platinum PC3200 2GB 2X1GB (CL2-3-2-5)

I currently run my RAM at HTT 250, 2.5-3-3-7 timings. It seems most people with 1GB sticks of the EL Plat. PC3200 can only hit around HTT 220, maybe 240 if they're lucky.

I guess my third option would be to just pick up another 2x512MB of the Platinum Rev. 2...Command Rate would have to go down, but would I be able to maintain the same timings?

All comments welcome!

I could only reach 230 with mine at stock timings.. I woudl suggest the first one, worth it for future headroom..

I've got a pair of OCZ PC3200 1GB Platinum EL revision 2. I run my HTT at 330 with a divider which equates to my memory running at 220MHz @ 2.5-3-2-5 1t, 2.8v. 330 is pretty friggin good. and that's 100% prime, super pi and memtest86 stable.

I own the OCZ PC4000 2x1Gb EB plat and I've been able to get memtest stable (24h+) on stock timings/voltage upto 295mhz (I suspect it could be more but my mobo got boot issues at high HTT)
