iPod Install Software

I've recently reformatted my computer and lost the software I installed to use my iPod. If that wasn't bad enough, I've also lost the CD that came with the iPod to install it. I wanted to hook it up to change some songs but I'm afraid it will take everything off and not allow me to change anything until I install it.

I have the serial number of my iPod so Apple knows this is legit if they have any questions, but I can't find the version 1.0 software. I've found updates on the iPod site but I'm looking for what is on the CD. Does anyone know where I can find this?

Are u talking about iTunes? That is the only software i use to interface w. my ipod. You can d/l that from the Apple site...

Yea actually I realized shortly after I posted that any version of iPod would be a full install, not a partial patch. So I downloaded 1.3 and its working fine.
