Been a while since I've gone through and done the whole upgrade thing. I'm currently still on Asus P4c800-e DLX w/ P4e 3.4GHz, 2GB Geil, Ati x800 xt
Thinking of Asus Commando (that's how I like my underwear)
Intel E6600 for at least a moderate OC
Correct me if I'm wrong... I think I read that the motherboard series is particular about having good 1.8v RAM
So, in looking around I found some stuff at NewEgg that just happened to drop another $5 on the coupon today to $50 instant discount and the specs look quite good, even if it were priced higher. But, I've always gone with the "sounds too good to be true, it probably is" mind-set.
Please discuss (and let me know if I can do much better without flaking out the moboard or OC, up to around $300 for 2 GB):
