Last night I tried to tweek my Gskill with the following results....
I reset the bios to defaults and 1st I changed the ratio to 1:1/533.
Then I manually configured the ram to 4-4-4-12, which is the spec. No Post had to reset.
Set it to 4-4-4-10. Which is what CPUz reads it as if I get it into Vista. I got no post and had to reset.
Set it to 5-5-5-15. No post had to reset.
I also tried all the above settings with the ram running at 2.2v with the same results. In all the above changes the ram was running at 1:1. Changing the Ram from SPD to manual was the only other changes that were made. It seems the only way I could boot fully into Vista was with the ram at SPD. I figured that the ram was bad so I ran memtest 1.7 and go no errors after 45 minutes.
Any ideas anyone.....?
