New Board

As I am building my first gaming system and am very new to all of this. Which board should I get. Ive already decided to hold off on my processor until penryn come out in January. I just would like to know which board would you think I should purchase? EVGA 790i coming out in a month or two. Or a X38 based board such as the LANPARTY X38-T3R. Money is not really an option. I will be running SLi probably on 8800 Ultra's.

Unless a miracle occurs and the X38 chipsets get SLI, you don't have much choice, wait for the 790i and see how that will do with Penryn. Personally, I would get the X38 chipset and the best single vid card available.
