I must be crazy! I cant see what the difference is between these two ASUS P5E3 Deluxe besides the price?

One is open box the other isn't. With open box you might get just the board.

Is this the best motherboard I can get for the price? I plan on using it with a intel E8400 and a 8800GT 512mb Card. Is there a better setup for the price?

Most newegg open box deals have everything a retail version would have. I have not bought open box but did look into it a great deal. Good luck!

newegg doesnt state it will come with everything. assume all you are getting is the board for the price...
