HOW TO HELP:
1. Pick a range of 10 to handle which someone else hasn't already grabbed, post your range below (see my example in post #2)
2. Open attached spreadsheet
3. Find the page listed for each row here. (instructions in post 3 for the easy way to do this)
4. Search Overclockers.com for that article, put new URL for article in spreadsheet next to old URL
5. Edit your post, attach your version of the spreadsheet including the new URLs.
6. If you want to do 10 more, post again with what you are working on, and start back at step 1 (this makes sure someone else isn't already doing what you are doing)
WHEN:
Anytime, the sooner we have it done, the sooner overclockers.com visitors will stop hitting 404 pages.
WHY:
Our 15th most viewed page, including the blog and forums, is our 404 page. I need help to fix that.
Links that used to point to things like www.overclockers.com\tips437 now end up on an error page saying that page isn't found. The article exists on the website, but it's URL has changed twice (once for the joomla site upgrade, once for the wordpress site upgrade).
iNet has links to the old Joomla site redirecting to the new wordpress URL, but links to the old grey site which ran for 10 years do not redirect to the new wordpress URL. With your help, we can fix this.
