Can you run the Samsung at CAS2? I'm at newegg and it says the memory is CAS2.5....
Just wondering, thanks,
Wedo
I have tried few PC2700 on my 8k3a+. The RAM ended up in my system is ATP designed PCB with Samsung PC2700 chip. Other than 201 @ 2-2-2-5-1, it does 215 setting @ "normal".
I actually canceled my order of Samsung original after I gave that ATP RAM few days of tourture test. The "original" may or may not run few mhz better, but I am satisfied with the ATP already. FYI, ATP is a samll memory firm focus mainly on highend memory for server but not a well known brand in PC arena.
I am sure you will like the performace of Samsung original. You will like it better if you do proper burn in before you push the voltage up.
