had a spare motherboard (soyo dragon+)
3gig hd 12x cd-rom

so i bought 1300 duron 128mb-ram and a $30 case
setting up now

Nice you should see some sub 4 hour times. Maybe even better. My 1.1 @ 1266 does them in 4 flat.

i can only get 1482 out of this (13*114)
i think i need to unlock it
i'll do that tomorrow
its ett is 4:52:35 i'm not happy with that!
efficiency is 7.37cpf

Once you get it unlocked and up the memory timmings you will be able to break the 4h mark. Speaking of times, Ill see if I can take it bellow 3.5h

well its unlocked and set to 10*145
but its still slow???
speed 243 mflops

Something is not right then. What are your memeory timmings? Also what MB are you using? Something must be set wrong.

maybe set the multiplier down a bit and raise the FSB to make the same speed that u had with the higher multiplier
