Scratch Removal On Regular Monitor

Today i was wiping my monitor off with this special solution which has worked great in the past. After i finished this patch about the size of a credit card looks scratched. And you can see "more" clearer through it..i guess its a protective film...is their any way to remove this ?? Homemade solution preferred but if it dont work..ill go buy something. Thank You!!!

"special solution" whats in this solution? it seems as if it destroyed the protective film on the monitor. All tvs and monitors have this i believe, and it tends to be destroyed when it comes in contact with alcohol. Since you removed the film, im not sure you can fix it.
