Ok, I put my Intel CPU/MOBO combo on ebay, as well as some other crap, in light to get a AMD setup. I was looking around on newegg and I think I have decided to go with the following...
MSI nForce3 250 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Athlon 64 Socket 754 CPU, Model "K8N Neo Platinum" (MS-7030)
AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 512k L2 Cache, The Only 64-bit Windows Compatible Processor (retail - as I need a new waterblock)
Memory Im gonna swap out of my system, as well as everything else.
Is this a good choice for going to my first AMD setup. And please dont say go s939... I dont want to drop $500+ just for a CPU/MOBO Combo.
Thanks in advance!
