Hi, ive been away from overclocking for a while and wanted to know what programs to use (from CPUID to Prime 95.... is that still what people are using?) i want to overclock (got all the hardware) and dont know which programs to stress test, which programs to use in order to deam a oc stable. Anything else that im missing would be nice. thnx

CPUz is good for checking speed, FBS/HTT and documenting.
Orthos has two instances of Prime95 built in so that is good for stress testing.
I like to use Super_pi as a quick indicator of stability but it does not use both cores of a dual core machine so it is not as rigorous.
Memtest86 is still good for RAM.
For temperatures CoreTemp is being used a lot since it measures two cores.

For my money, SETI or folding@Home stresses CPUs as well as anything.
