Well, I have AOL 6.0 and AOL always wants to download new files at the end of my session which wastes my time and I've been trying to find out how to disable it. Does anyone know?

Thanks

CTRL ALT DELETE

other than that im pretty sure theres no way

Empty the contents of the TOD folder.
There is no way to stop it, but that should make it go through faster.

Yeah the Ctrl-Alt-Del thing sometimes is ok but most of the time the computer can take just as much time thinking about ending the program :(

I'll try that TOD folder thing

Thanks for your help

1. Make a boot floppy
2. Reboot, with the floppy in
3. Choose "start with CD-ROM support"
4. At the A:\> prompt, type format C: /s hit <enter>
5. Put a Windows 98se cd in
6. assuming you had 1 C: partition, no other partitions, type
E:
Adjust accordingly, if you have more logical drives
7. type setup
8. After 98 installs, find another ISP

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Well that would mean that I'd have to find a new ISP :D

Some don't have a choice but to use dial-up.
And have you tried AOL with cable/dsl? I'll let you in on a secret... It works!
