Corsair H60 Connector issue

I just got a H60, Problem is I don't have an extra fan connector on the mobo for the pump connector,
Can I just hook the pump connector to one of the open 2 pin thermal sensors on my mobo? (Crosshair V)

Or how about this.... Does the pump connector have to be connected to the mobo or can I run it directly from a molex connector?

Run it from a molex, it will run at 100% no worries.

Thanks, I ended up doing that, It's working great. As you can see, I have thing for airflow.
