res

Basically it has three holes in the bottom, one in the top. There's also a plastic tube that is attatched to one of the bottom holes and extends up inside.

Which hole am I supposed to use as outlet to the pump and which hole as inlet to the res? Also I want a small drainage pipe fitted to one of the holes so I can drain they system easly.

All i know atm is that it should be mounted vertically so that the three holes are on the bottom. Thanks for advice, water-cooling first time.

Here's the same res with an led attatched:

So the top hole doesn't have to be used at all?

i would guess the top hole would be for filling the rez.
the one with the tube going up inside the rez would be the return from the rad.
other two i would guess would be to go out to the pump etc.

The down tube with the 'hose' is the down tube on tup of the res. It helps bleeding and vortexes.

The three below is kinda up to you. Use one for a drain, one as the feed to the pump.

We do have a WC forum, might spend a few minutes finding the right forum before posting.
