XTX HD 7970 3gb - Will it fit in my case?

Howdy folks.

Right, so I've stupidly gone ahead and purchased a XTX Radeon HD 7970 Ghz DD edition card without finding out whether or not it'll be too big to fit in my Silverstone SUGO SG05 case.

I'm getting it delivered tomorrow, but don't want to break the seal and take it out of its box only to find out it won't fit in thus voiding my return.

My current eVGA 660 Ti fit in it just fine, with a little bit of room left over and it's a little over 10 inches.

I've googled and googled, but can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. Please someone tell me they've managed to squeeze a 7970 into a Sugo!

My case is the Silverstone SUGO SG05.

According to newegg, the dimensions listed says the 7970 is 1.3 inches longer.

The Sugo sg05 can handle up to a 9" card; your 7970 is 10.9" long. Looks like you will need a case expander or a card shrinker.

Well, I couldn't find anything on the XTX, but the XFX 7970 double D edition is 10.8" long.

Well worst comes to it cut the case and mod to make it fit like this guy did!
