Which external HDD is better WD elements or WD passport?

So, which external HDD is better WD elements 2tb or WD passport 2tb? Or there is a better option?
It looks like elements is much faster than passport.

Actually, from my experience (I own one of both), the passport, with its USB 3.0 connection, is faster. Be warned, however, that the cable provided is extremely short.

They both have usb3. Are you still saying that the passport is faster?

Huh, I didn't realize the Element had a USB 3.0 connection. I guess it is blue.

Yeah, it seems as if I never noticed because it had other limiting factors. I think the smaller passport has a higher data density, and they both spin at 5.k RPM.

In anycase, I have found the pass port to be faster.
