No sound, with fresh Win 7 Pro install

So just did a fresh W7 install on my new SSD, but now i have now sound. Have tried everything I know of and cant get the speakers to work. I tried putting in every audio jack back there and nothing in any of them. Any ideas? They were working great before I did the install.

Speaker system is the Logitech Z623. Speakers work fine when I plug it into my laptop or my phone.

Are your audio drivers installed?

For Windows or the mobo?


Just tried it in the front headphone jack, and it works...wtf? So how do I get it so it works in the rear jacks?

You need to use the motherboard drivers for the onboard audio. You should be able to find these on the driver disc with the motherboard or on the manufacturers website.

Could be a bad switch in the front jack.
